Dorrie Short Awarded Q3 2020 GoPrime Personality!

Have you ever been on the phone with someone and you can tell by their voice that they are smiling? They are upbeat, incredibly happy to help, and possess a passion that can’t help but brighten the day of the lucky person on the other side of the line? That’s Dorrie Short.

A Closer at GoPrime Mortgage, Dorrie assembles, prepares, and reviews critical closing documents for mortgage loans. Once the loan is approved, she coordinates the closing process to ensure that all the documents are correct, and all the terms of the loan are met. Dorrie commented that, “closing is fast paced and it’s fulfilling to know you have helped someone get their first new home or refinanced into a better interest rate. It can be very stressful but is even more rewarding at the same time.”

Her coworkers nominated her for the quarterly GoPrime Personality Award without hesitation because, “she makes things happen!” That was only the start of the many wonderful things they had to say about her:

“My borrower that is currently fighting the fires in Oregon will be able to sign and close as planned because of the SUPER, FANTASTIC DORRIE!”

“Her personality is what makes her a special person. She would never speak a cross word or degrade anyone or get angry at them, even when it would be totally understandable! That’s what makes her so deserving of this recognition.”

“Being two hours behind her for work hours doesn’t stop her from staying on a schedule that works for our clients/partners. This woman always puts her clients first!”

When she isn’t saving the day at GoPrime, Dorrie is at home bike riding, walking, roller skating, meeting new people, shopping, entertaining family and friends, and working on projects around the house.

When we asked her what she enjoyed most about working at GoPrime, she said it was the “great people from management down through every department. The love and care that everyone shows makes you feel like a big, wonderful family, not just at work but at social events too.”

Each employee chosen to receive the GoPrime Personality Award is given $500 to donate to the charity of their choice.

Dorrie chose to donate $500 to A Bike for Every Child.

A Bike for Every Child collects new and gently used bikes from the community, refurbishes them, and gives the bikes and new helmets to kids and adults who need them.

Congratulations, Dorrie! We love having you on our team!
