We’re excited to highlight Emily Vannoy, a Loan Officer at GoPrime’s Southern Pines, NC branch, as our newest GoPrime Personality. Emily’s story is a fantastic example of how dedication and passion can lead to both professional and personal growth.
Emily’s journey at GoPrime began in an unexpected way. She started on the appraisal desk, then moved to post-closing, gaining valuable experience along the way. Eventually, she joined Chris McLaurin at the Southern Pines branch as a Loan Officer Assistant, which sparked her passion for helping others. She went on to get licensed and became a Loan Officer.
Outside of her mortgage work, Emily is passionate about reading. She managed to finish over 200 books and audiobooks last year and is active in two book clubs, where she connects with others who share her love for reading. She’s also heavily involved in the Junior League of Moore County, where she will soon step into the role of treasurer. This organization is dedicated to improving the lives of youth in the community, and Emily’s enthusiasm for making a difference is contagious.
A fun fact about Emily is that she can trace her family lineage back to an ancestor who fought in the Revolutionary War. This deep connection to history influences how she lives her life today. She also lives by a piece of advice her dad gave her: “It takes the same amount of energy to have a good day as it does to have a bad day.” This mindset has helped Emily maintain a positive outlook no matter the situation.
Her commitment to giving back extends to her charitable contributions as well. Each GoPrime Personality winner chooses a charity to receive $500. Emily has chosen to donate to the Junior League of Moore County, supporting their efforts to create positive change in the community.
As Dolly Parton said, “If you see someone without a smile today, give ‘em yours.” Emily truly embodies this quote by spreading warmth and positivity wherever she goes.
We’re proud to recognize Emily for all she has achieved and the impact she continues to make at GoPrime. Her journey exemplifies the values we hold dear: growth, connection, and compassion. If you’re looking for a Loan Officer who brings both expertise and a positive attitude to every interaction, Emily is the person to reach out to.
At GoPrime, we believe in people before transactions, and Emily is a shining example of what makes our culture so special. If you’re looking for a career that encourages growth and community involvement, explore our open opportunities.
